We hope you've been having fun with Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection! Today, we're excited to share that the "Online Arcade" update is now available across all platforms: Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

No matter where you're playing, you can now download the latest update and experience a variety of new features.

Highlights of the Online Arcade update include:

  • Lobbies for online play. Our goal with Online Arcade mode is to replicate the experience of having a large group of players together in a personal arcade or game room. In that room, you will have total freedom and control over who is allowed in, and which games everyone can play. These rooms can be public or private, and will support up to 16 participants who can play any mix of games found in the Kollection that support online play. Up to eight matches can happen simultaneously, and players have the option of competing or spectating.
  • Khronicle of the Realms. The perfect companion to the character biographies in the Kombatants section, the five timelines that make up the Khronicle detail the overall chronological story of the games in the Kollection, accompanied by character artwork.
  • Adjustable CPU difficulty. Before you begin playing one of the arcade games or Mortal Kombat Trilogy, jump into the Game Settings menu and you can use the "Fixed AI Difficulty" setting to keep the computer-controlled opponents at whatever difficulty level you choose.

The team at Digital Eclipse is continuing to work on additional features and fixes for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection that will roll out to all platforms in early 2026.
