Prepare yourselves – a new update for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is now available on all platforms! Ever since MKLK's launch on October 30 of last year, the team has been hard at work on updates to enhance your play experience as you venture back into Mortal Kombat's past.
Today, we want to tell you about some new features that will give you new ways to enjoy these killer classics, whether online or offline, solo or in a group. Here's what you can experience with the latest update.

Room Codes
Room Codes give you total control over who joins your online private lobby. When you create a private room, it's now assigned a simple five-character code. Share that with any player you'd like to invite, and they can enter it into the Play menu to join your lobby.
You have the option to make your room code visible on your screen, or keep it private. So if you're livestreaming your session, you can keep your code secret – or publicly display it so any viewer can enter it in and challenge you to kombat!

Filter by Connection Strength
While it's a thrill to play against gamers from around the world, the nature of varying online connection speeds over long distances sometimes makes that less fun than it sounds. Now you can filter available rooms based on a player's online connection strength. Want to set a limit to only match with players who have the fastest connections relative to your own? No problem. Seek out locals only or fight the entire world – it's up to you.

Difficulty Settings for Console Games
In a previous update, we added the "Fixed AI Difficulty" setting to the arcade versions of the Mortal Kombat games included in Legacy Kollection. This allowed you to fix the CPU-controlled fighters' difficulty level in place, anywhere from 0 (easiest) to 9 (get ready for pain), and have that difficulty remain in place from the first battle all the way to the final boss.
This same feature has now been added to all games in the Kollection that originally appeared on Super NES, Genesis, and 32X This applies to both the standard arcade mode as well as the Versus mode when playing against CPU opponents. If you want the game's original difficulty curve, simply set "Fixed AI Difficulty" to OFF.

Enhanced Krypt Kontent
We've expanded the Kombatants section of The Krypt to include the video attract screen character introductions for the original Mortal Kombat, as well as the video endings for all of the fighters from Mortal Kombat 4.
Performance Improvements
Multiple games now run and play better than before, particularly MK Special Forces and MK Trilogy. You'll find it's faster to get into the action of Training Mode than it once was, and we've added an option to the GBA version of Deadly Alliance to let you max out your koins. Unlock everything you want!

And, Of Course, Bug Fixes
We'd like to give a special thank-you to all the players who have joined us on the Digital Eclipse Discord server – the best place to share your feedback reports with us!
We have acted on quite a bit of your feedback, so you'll see everything from accuracy updates to move lists, combo move lists, and finishing moves for multiple titles on through to correcting graphical glitches in 2-on-2 rematches in MK Trilogy and a stage-specific Dead Pool audio bug in MKII's arcade version.
Pinpointing precise fixes is easier with your continued, detailed feedback on Discord, so thank you for helping make the game better!
And we're not done yet! We're continuing to work on more improvements for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, and when they're ready for release, we'll let everyone know -- but we can confirm that Krossplay is coming in the next update. Fans will be able to fight with friends playing on different consoles and PCs later this spring. Thank you for your continued support!
